A little more about me…

Music has been with me for as long as I can remember. School band and choir, church music, and punk rock bands were a huge part of my daily life growing up. I decided to seriously pursue a career in music and went to Belmont University in Nashville and graduated with a degree in Music Production.

Since then, I've toured with Steven Dayvid McKellar of Civil Twilight, my music has been featured on CBS and an Italian docu-drama, and I was a part of the Nashville music scene for 15 years. I write and record songs as Bucky Shorts and have an electronic passion project under the name Kevin Kendall. Bamboo Playground is the name of my studio and publishing company. Bamboo is malleable and strong, playgrounds are a place of joy and exploration.
